Early Childhood Program

During the second plane of development, from ages 3-6, children are placed in a socially enriched community with access to academic materials and a well-organized curriculum which will support their natural desires to learn and continue to explore. The materials help children build a sense of concentration, coordination, order, and independence as they begin math, writing, reading science, history, geography, art, and music. Children are still respected for their individualism and the teacher fosters a deep relationship with each one as they discover the necessary approaches and learning styles needed to maximize the child’s potential. Respect, genuine warmth, patience, and understanding are paramount. It is during this period that children learn to become confident and competent learners.
